Camille Beaudoin

While Camille has worked in the film and television industry for 15 years in different capacities, she is multi-talented with a large pool of skills from her many different work experiences. During her University years, Camille worked as a camp counsellor, historical interpreter, tour guide, and movie theatre attendant.

In 1999, she graduated on the Dean’s List at the University of Alberta with a specialization in Marketing and Special Events.

Camille began her post-university career working as an events coordinator and marketing manager for such companies as the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, Canadian Blood Services, and McDonald’s Restaurants of Canada.

Her entry into the film and television world came when she worked in the Locations Department on productions such as Family Channel’s Mentors, the feature Ginger Snaps Back: The Beginning and many others. Camille then took a position at the TV production company Anaid Productions working as an assistant to the President, Margaret Mardirossian. After that, Camille moved became assistant production oordinator on projects such as the documentary series Taking It Off, and the feature film Intern Academy, directed by Dave Thomas and starring Dan Aykroyd.

Ten years ago, Camille co-founded the Edmonton-based production company Mosaic Entertainment and has produced three seasons of the hilarious sketch comedy series CAUTION: May Contain Nuts, a season of Caution’s spinoff situation comedy, Delmer & Marta, five seasons of the unique sketch/sitcom hybrid Tiny Plastic Men currently airing on Super Channel in Canada and Hulu in the United States, 50 short episodes of a sketch comedy series ETown, and the feature films Truckstop Bloodsuckers and It’s Not My Fault And I Don’t Care Anyway. Camille is also developing a feature film with Telefilm called White Mask, a sitcom called Nerdvana with the Canwest Legacy Fund and the NSI Totally Television Program, and many other multi-platform projects.

Camille has sat on a number of boards and is currently a board member of the Alberta Media Productions Industries Association. Her passion is learning about other cultures through travelling. She has so far visited the Bahamas, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Egypt, England, France, Grand Cayman, Italy, Jordan, Malta, Mexico, Scotland, Spain, St. Martin, St. Thomas, and Tunisia, and continues to work tirelessly on checking off her list of places to see.
